Is it really free?
It's free to join today. We're on a mission to make scuba more accessible, so we've removed the fees the legacy agencies charge instructors: per-student e-learning, certification commission and annual membership. We may introduce fees down the line, but if we do they'll be more competitive than the agencies', because lower costs put more people in the water. Our credibility comes from our standards and our platform, not from who signs up.
Which agencies do you accept?
PADI, SSI, RAID, SDI/TDI, NAUI, CMAS, BSAC and more. If you hold a recognised instructor or dive master rating in good standing and carry appropriate insurance, you qualify.
What's different for dive masters?
Dive masters join as verified Pro Guides. You guide certified divers, assist on courses and lead dives, and you get the verified profile, the free tools and the map. Independent certifying rights stay with instructors, but everything else is yours.
Do my students have to pay for anything?
No. The Diving Standard e-learning is free for every student. There are no learning codes to buy and nothing to mark up.
How do I get verified?
Apply, download the app and sign up with the same email. We review your application by hand, and on approval your account turns into a verified pro profile with every course and tool unlocked.
